I'm an assistant professor at the [[http://www.gest.unipd.it/ Department of Management and Engineering]] of the [[http://www.unipd.it/ University of Padua]], Italy.

Before doing so, I was a ""PhD"" student at the [[http://www.unipr.it/ University of Parma]], a visiting scholar at the [[http://www.lanl.gov/ Los Alamos National Laboratory]], a research associate at the [[http://www.unipr.it University of Parma]] and at the [[http://www.univr.it/ University of Verona]], and a visiting professor at the [[http://www.fh-bonn-rhein-sieg.de/en/Home.html University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg]]. After, I was a visiting researcher at the [[http://www.hmes.uwa.edu.au/
School of Sport Science, Exercise and Health]] of  [[http://www.uwa.edu.au/ The University of Western Australia]].

The focus of my [[research]] is on autonomous robotics. I have a broad interest in several aspects of human robot collaboration, algorithms, and software architectures for robotics applications. In the latest couple of years, I started working on neuromuscular human-machine interfaces, an interesting topics which has quickly become my core research interest.
